Message	upgrade? Did you check your idle voltage while using your 3000 watt amp? Did you upgrade to a hairpin-style alternator? There is a chance that your HU it was damaged by a big voltage swing if your electrical system is under performing with your new amplifier. Probably unlikely, but this is something to consider. Power capacitors can help smooth out ripples but under sustained draw, they will not "prop up" your voltage.
